PROJECT SCOPE

Supply and install two matching wall-mounted display shelf units for That Shoe Shop. Each unit is approximately 1600 mm wide × 1600 mm high × 110 mm deep, made from 110 × 19 mm DAR Tasmanian Oak throughout.

Cutting & assembly notes

  1. Site measure first. Confirm clear width, wall flatness, obstructions, services and available fixing points.
  2. Set out two equal 1600 × 1600 mm units. Each unit has two 800 mm bays and four stacked display openings, formed by two end panels, one centre panel, one top plate, three intermediate shelves and one bottom plate.
  3. Cut oak square; ease exposed edges, sand progressively and finish to client-approved sample.
  4. Keep visible fasteners aligned and discreet. Black brackets are to read as a consistent detail.
  5. Use 75 mm timber screws only where appropriate for the connection and pre-drill oak to prevent splitting.
  6. Allow a minimum of 16 supplied 1.8 m lengths for the revised 1600 mm height; carpenter to confirm final cut optimisation and wastage.
